California: Cannabis World Congress In L.A. Boasts Women Grow Sponsored Education

Women Grow, a professional networking organization for women leaders in the cannabis industry, is partnering with the Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBExpo) in Los Angeles to produce 15 business-focused educational sessions at the September event.

CWCBExpo in LA will take place September 16-18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The Women Grow tracks at CWCBExpo in LA will feature leading industry experts from the Women Grow Speaker's Bureau. These women and men will draw on experience to share entrepreneurial insight with the next generation of industry professionals.

Topics include "Upcoming States for New Licenses;" "Future Billion-Dollar Segments: Pets & Skin Care;" "New Technology for Efficient Grows;" "What Women Want From the Cannabis Industry;" and "Capitalizing on the Senior Market While a Providing a Service."

Women Grow, a national professional organization supporting women leaders and entrepreneurs in the cannabis industry, will be a major sponsor of the 2nd Annual Cannabis World Congress & Business Exposition (CWCBExpo.com). Taking place June 17-19, at the Javits Center in New York, CWCBExpo is the largest event on the East Coast for the legal and medical marijuana industries, according to its organizers.

Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO), Leading Female Cannabis Entrepreneurs, National Cannabis Industry Association Will Highlight Key Issues Affecting Small and Women-Owned Cannabis Businesses

Rep. Jared Polis will join leaders and members of Women Grow, a national network of female cannabis industry professionals, and the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA) in the National Press Club’s Zenger Room on Thursday, February 12 at 9 a.m., to set the agenda for the group’s first-ever Lobby Days.

On February 12 and 13, more than 60 Women Grow members from 14 states nationwide will converge in Washington, D.C., to promote the essential role of small and women-owned businesses in creating a diverse, responsible cannabis industry.

In meetings with Congressional representatives and staff, members will address key industry issues including fair taxation and access to banking.
