U.S.: Online Cannabis Industry Resource Adds To Marijuana Business Directory

GanjapreneurCannabisBusinessServices

Ganjapreneur, an online business resource dedicated to the cannabis industry, has expanded its business directory to include seven new categories of industry services.

The directory focuses on companies that provide B2B services to cannabusinesses, as opposed to medical cannabis dispensaries or retail recreational shops that target actual cannabis consumers.

New categories have been added to include investment groups who support start-up marijuana businesses, political organizations who advocate on behalf of legalization and drug policy reform, and trade associations who work to educate and organize business owners. There are also now sections of the directory dedicated to cannabis testing labs who test for contaminants and potency in samples from state-licensed growers or producers — and to laboratories that offer premium hash and cannabis oil extraction services.

Providers of commercial grow lights, seeds and soil, and other equipment used for both indoor and outdoor agriculture can also create business listings. Finally, the directory has added categories for marijuana industry job boards as well as publishers who report on marijuana news and culture.

Ganjapreneur's business directory was launched in 2014 in an effort to help professionals, investors, and entrepreneurs connect with service providers who specialize in the cannabis industry. Since then, businesses have been able to add a listing for free as part of a limited-time offer.

GanjapreneurCannabisBusinessServices

Ganjapreneur, a website dedicated to cannabis business news and culture, has announced the addition of a search engine to their marijuana job feed and their business directory for cannabis companies. The new feature is intended to help aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals in the industry find and connect with cannabis-focused companies who are hiring.

Ganjapreneur launched their Marijuana Job Feed, a live feed of job listings from the leading cannabis industry job boards, in fall 2014. The feed refreshes throughout the day to reflect the most recently-posted job opportunities on the internet.

Ganjapreneur's Business Directory also launched in 2014, and serves as a resource for professionals, investors, and entrepreneurs who wish to find and connect with companies that have specialized in cannabis. Categories of these companies include lawyers, consultants, web designers, and accountants.

Since their official launch in July 2014, Ganjapreneur has also published a large volume of news articles and editorials related to the cannabis and hemp industries. They offer a weekly cannabis industry newsletter, and have published a news-reader app which is available for Android and Apple devices.

They also publish in-depth interviews with cannabis entrepreneurs and investors, and have announced that they are developing a "Freelancer Network" designed to help independent workers find gigs with cannabis industry businesses.

On the heels of an election which decided marijuana policy in several states, Ganjapreneur, a website dedicated to the legal cannabis industry, has announced a business-focused directory to help aspiring cannabis entrepreneurs and companies connect with business service providers.

Ganjapreneur's new directory includes archives of lawyers, accountants, web development agencies, security firms, and general business consultants who specialize in serving marijuana businesses.

The business directory currently has 12 categories, although a representative from the website said the scope of the project is growing.

"Right now we're focusing on B2B services," the Ganjapreneur rep added, "so our directory is geared toward companies who provide a business service such as marketing or accounting."

Ganjapreneur recently announced that they are preparing to launch a "Freelancer's Network" for creative professionals who want to take on marijuana-related projects. The network currently has a landing page explaining the concept, and an email sign-up form to receive a notification when the network is officially launched.

The website launched over the summer, and has rapidly published a large volume of unique content including news coverage, business editorials, interviews with cannabis industry entrepreneurs, an industry job feed which aggregates classified ads from around the web, and even a dictionary of slang vocabulary terms related to marijuana.
