is derived from "cannabis", the Latin word for "marijuana".



For 3000 Years

prior to 1842, marijuana and hashish extracts were the most widely-used medicines in the world.



In 1937,

Mechanical Engineering magazine declared hemp, "the most profitable and desirable crop that can be grown".



Henry Ford

built a plastic car made of fiber from hemp and wheat straw in 1941.




This section of the site was created to keep people informed with events taking place within the movement. It will continue to grow and evolve daily.
